While we travel the world for a living, nothing compares to a great celebration at home. This Memorial Day weekend, we’re spending it together enjoying the things we love most – wine, golf, sun & fun right at home in California. While the romantic coastline of Positano and the mountains of New Zealand are wonderful memories, nothing can compare to the fun we share together at home.

Love & Marriage

As active travelers, we love getting involved with activities on the road or at home. And for the activities that we don’t partake in together, we support one another in those endeavors. We’re going to let you in on a little secret. Scott loves to play golf and watch golf, but I, Collette, am not as much of a golf fan. However, I love supporting and watching Scott for his love of golf. I’m happiest by his side, especially with a glass of Gran Reserva wine in hand. Hey, that’s marriage, a beautiful (and tasty in this instance) compromise.

Scott’s favorite places to enjoy golf are on the coastlines of California at Terranea Resort (where we got married), up the coast at Pebble Beach, or from the comfort of our own couch. Scott gets to enjoy golf and I enjoy a great glass of vino (which he always joins in on post-game), Either way, as long as we’re together enjoying both of our passions, we are two happy campers.
