- Tricep Dip
Sit on a chair with your butt and hands on the edge of the seat and your fingertips facing the front of the chair. Extend your legs in front of you with your heels on the floor. Scoot your butt off the chair so you can almost touch your butt to your fingertips. Lower your body so your butt almost touches the floor and your upper arms are parallel to the floor. Keep your body tight as you push into the chair and press your body up to the starting position. Do three sets of 10 reps.
2. Incline Push-Ups
Place your hands on a chair (make sure the chair is stable or against a wall for stability) with your feet behind you. Your body should be in a plank position. Squeeze your elbows into your sides as you lower your body down until your chest touches the chair. Keep your body in a straight line and push up into the start of your plank position. Do three sets of 10 reps.
Nice! Being able to stay active even in the most “non-exercise” situations (airport layovers, family holidays, etc) is a great way to keep feeling good. Body weight work is quick and easy and if done right can be a really great workout too.
True! Bodyweight work is fabulous on the road.
Jim, I absolutely agree with you. Maybe some years ago we all thought that if you want to work out than you need a space.. But now.. There are so many exercises that you can do at home or everywhere else. And they really do not need a big space..

I like the two workouts that you have mentioned . As these workouts are simple and could be easily done with the help of just a chair . Doing a regular workouts & exercises are really good for health and fitness . And an idea of doing these workouts with just a chair are great to become fit . Doing Incline push-ups & Triceps dip are vital and will be helpful for maintaining the body fitness .

It always amazing me just how much one can do without ever needing weights and just using their own body weight.
Undoubtedly excellent idea as we can do it anywhere anytime. But I have a little query about this chair trick exercise Does it cover our regular workout benefits. I don’t think so. As far I know these type of exercise is particular body parts exercise. It can be a better way when you travel you haven’t tools with you but not for regular basis. Thanks. .
Hi, always do this exercise inside our home and at work. When at home, I sometimes use my weighted vest. It works for me! Sometimes if I have all the energy, I do 5 sets of 10 reps. Thanks for this!
To be fit you need help sometimes. Workout supplements do exactly that.
There’s really no excuse to not doing any workouts. We can do some exercise or some workout routine in and out of the house.
