So you’ve got itchy feet, but you don’t have the wealth of a Kardashian at your disposal. What can a wannabe traveler do?

Well, travel agencies around the world offer a variety of cheap holidays, including all inclusive deals and much more. This article looks at some of the top destinations you can visit that will give you Big League entertainment at Little League prices.

Mexico

A good place to get away in North America while still watching your money, Mexico offers everything you could ask of a sunny vacation destination. You can choose from all inclusive or affordable resorts on the Pacific or Caribbean coastline, in Nuevo Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya or Cancun.

All promise pools and beautiful beaches nearby. Low cost activity options include day trips to Mayan ruins or reef snorkeling.

Dominican Republic

Have you heard of the Coconut Coast? It’s the Dominican Republic’s area of all-inclusive resorts along the east coast. With temperatures regularly in the high 70s to the 90s throughout the year, it’s a real paradise for sun-seekers.

If you want to keep your holiday activity spend down, then you have a few options apart from relaxing on the beach with a good book. Try visiting the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve, snorkeling, or parasailing. Alternatively, pack a board and go surfing.

Jamaica

The famous island vibes of Jamaica should be a tempting draw for folks who want to vacation on a budget. Famous spring break destination Montego Bay also promises a lot for those who want to chill out. Further along the northern coast is Runaway Bay. Originally a destination for runaway slaves, this town is now a place where people can make an escape of their own.

Both destinations offer superb beaches with more close by. Swimming, buying local foods and eating at public picnic tables are all great ways to relax on a budget.

Turkey

The capital of Istanbul has many treasures to offer travelers. But Turkey itself has many other cities and regions that visitors will find amazing. The areas around Antalya and Bodrum have sun-bleached beaches and clear blue seas, but both places offer much more besides.

Bodrum has diverse historic sites including the Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; and the Castle of St Peter, built by knights of the Crusades. Antalya meanwhile boasts its old town of Kaleici, Ottoman and Roman architecture, and mountain views. There’s plenty to see on a pocket-friendly walking tour.
