Unforgettable Fjords at Preikestolen / Pulpit Rock, Norway: Put your adventure cap on because it’s time for a fantastic fjord filled hike. About an hour outside of Stavanger is Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen as the locals call it), a rock that juts out 600 meters over the fjords of Norway. This hike is worth the 90-minute trek up to the top. To fight the crowds, you can camp overnight or arrive early for a golden hour glow. For the perfect photo, stand at the edge of Pulpit Rock while your partner stands on the mainland to capture the enormity of the cliff edge.

Dive into Taormina, Sicily: Italy is known for its fabulous food, wine, and romantically rugged beaches. With its miles of quixotic coastline, spend your days swimming in the Ionian Sea. Magical Caves in Matera, Italy: This city, located in the Southern Basilicata region of Italy, is known for its district of 1,500+ cave dwellings, also known as Sassi’s. These caves have been inhabited since Paleolithic times, but the city was condemned in the 1950’s for rampant disease caused by animals living in close quarters with the humans. A few decades later, Matera has been cleaned of its disease and was proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. It is one of the oldest living preserved cities in the world, meaning when you walk through these streets and caves, you are walking through the original caves of Paleolithic times.
