Congratulations, mama! You’re about to welcome a new baby into this beautiful world. As you’re prepping for the arrival of your baby, it can be overwhelming to know what to register for…especially as a first-time mama. There are so many baby items out there and it can be challenging to know what to put on your baby registry list and what to leave off. I compiled a list of the must have items on this baby registry checklist (and cross-referenced this list with many moms!)
Baby Furniture
Nestig Wave Crib – When it comes to your baby registry checklist, this crib grows with the baby from a mini crib to a regular crib to a toddler bed.
SNOO Smart Sleeper – I’ve heard from dozens of moms how the SNOO Smart Sleeper is an absolute game changer when it comes to baby sleeping through the night. While it comes with a hefty price tag, we believe that it’s money well spent. There are also options to rent the SNOO for a lower price.
Babyletto Kiwi Glider – This glider is so incredibly comfortable plus it has a USB port and electric reclining so you don’t have to worry about disturbing a sleeping baby or struggling to stand up while holding the baby in the middle of the night. A definite must for your baby registry checklist.
Rugs – These easy to wash area rugs from Lorena Canals are absolutely darling. She has a wide variety of area rugs that add character to any room.
Humidifier – The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a cool-mist humidifier for babies.

Baby Gear
Bugaboo Lynx Stroller – The stroller is one of the top items that all parents need on their baby registry checklist. We went with the Bugaboo Lynx Stroller, which is a lightweight, but rugged stroller that is compatible with multiple car seats.
Nuna Pipa Lite RX Car Seat – The Nuna is the cream of the crop of infant car seats. We opted for the Pipa Lite RX because of its safety rating along with its light weight (6.9 lbs). To be compatible with the Bugaboo Lynx, we have this adapter.
DockATot – Many of my friends recommended the DockATot as a multi-functional way for baby to lounge and play for the first 36 months of life.
Babybjorn Bouncer – This baby bouncer is the holy grail of baby bouncers. It’s easy to move around so baby can move anywhere with you.
Ergobaby – The Ergobaby 360 is an easy-to-use baby carrier so you can tend to your daily tasks while wearing the baby.
Sollybaby – Similar to the Ergobaby, the Sollybaby is a baby-wrap where you can keep baby close and easily carry your baby.

Baby Registry: Baby Feeding
Elvie breast pump – When it came time to choose a breast pump, I opted for the Elvie Pump, which is a wearable electric breast pump. I can simply pop it in my bra and go about my day, walking around and enjoying my day while I pump. The thought of being plugged into a wall multiple times a day sounded extremely restrictive and antiquated.
Burp Cloths – You’re going to be feeding 9+ times/day when the baby is born, which means you’re going to be burping the baby just as much. Do yourself a favor and get burp cloths…LOTS of them.
Nursing Bras – You will need easy to nursing bras when baby arrives.
Lansinoh Baby Bottles – My doula, who is also a lactation consultant, recommended these Lansinoh baby bottles along with a slow flow nipple to mimic breast feeding.
Haakaa manual silicone breast pump and milk catcher to catch any extra liquid gold (breast milk).
Nursing pads – If you’re nursing, you will leak. Stock up on nursing pads to slip into your bras.
Pacifier – These Philips Avent pacifiers were recommended by my doula / lactation consultant.
Boppy Feeding Pillow – This pillow will support you and your baby during nursing.
Kiinde Milk Storage Bags – Store your liquid gold in these easy-to-use milk storage bags.
